1. He means the vinyl
    I bought it on ebay.
    There is an italian seller.
I think the price is not cheap, but fair.
  2. I like the new version. I wish the chorus was new too. I'm going to try and pick up the vinyl tomorrow.

One idea I had when listening was what would it be like if Bono sang this song with his 1987 self? Like if they played the music video on the screen and he sang along to the "I'm hanging on, you're all that's left to hold on to"?

I think they will do that.
  4. Go out and get it if you want it, Tim. Don't let us trolls put you off

  5. Not big at all maybe 600 ft2 it's in leamington spa , called Head.
Anyway got there at 7am was a big queue but most were after Bowie stuff and Morrissey / Smiths so I got a copy ok
  6. Not overly impressed with it. As other posters have mentioned, there's a mesh of new and old parts that don't quite work. As a result there's often too much happening. This is a song that doesn't quite fit B-man's more-recently acquired quaint and melodic manner of singing either.

But I'm also somewhat biased in my bemusement of the whole repackaging thing. Thought SoI was a prefectly fine album that shows they can remain relevent, if not as good as they used to be. Re-doing an album because the current political climate somewhat resembles the inspiration of one or two of the songs is just..lame.

There are quite a few people that believe the band saying the album is "politically relevant" again is code for "we still haven't finished SOE but have to be out on the road playing SOMETHING"
