1. Every month we have a U2 show in the spotlights, the show of this month took place on 1987-11-12 - Vancouver. You can download this show, read reviews or write your own review on the show page here. In this thread you can discuss this show!

"After the band saved the yuppies in San Francisco one day before, they gave a hell of a show in Vancouver the day after. This is a show as good as any in that memorable 3rd leg in North America."

    Comments:
What better way to celebrate the opening date of the 2017 Joshua Tree tour than with a concert in the same city, same stadium and from the original Joshua Tree tour! The show occurred also exactly 29 years and 6 months prior to the 2017 opening night. Originally planned for Seattle, the concert eventually moved to Vancouver, but still 10,000 tickets were put on sale in Seattle. Time to get in the mood for the next tour with this bootleg!

  2. Don't let the standard setlist deceive you: this is a great show. I'm not kidding (this time). Bono had a very inspired night improvising all over the place, specially in RTSS. Also, Adam is so cool, his bass can't keep up with him.
    Definitely worth a listening.
  3. I've never really heard anything about this show on the forums. I'll be sure to check it out!
  4. That's why we still have Shows of the Months. If at least one person discovers something new or unexpected, it's worth it.
  5. Bad is really great. Bono's voice was incredible back then.

He seemed to like the RTSS improv because he took another one in Los Angeles the following week
  7. Yes! Seems he was perfecting that bit for LA. He tried it again in Hampton, I think.
