1. OK Computer 20th Anniversary Edition being released June 23rd!
  2. This is going to be a great date in music history for me:

Radiohead reissuing arguably the greatest album of the 1990's (I know, I know. There's also Achtung Baby!!!!) in the daytime and then watching U2 perform the greatest album of the 1980's in the evening.

    WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(And the reissue is going to include Big Boots and Lift!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

I just listened to the poor quality of Big Boots on youtube. So excited to have a proper version of this song!

I am also going to the Toronto show as well that night! Great day!

...and I guess that's the night RH plays Glastonbury. As I've posted already, there should be a really good boot available for that show AND there's a great chance they'll play a whole whack of songs from OKC.

    A GREAT day, indeed.
  5. great news, wallet is taking a whack with all these anniversary releases.

and that's without U2 even touring here haha

Are you going after the big box?

I think I'll simply go for the 2CD edition (possibly the very last CD's I'll ever purchase). Fortunately, I didn't go for the reissue back in 2008 so all I have is the original OKC I purchased 20 years ago (as well as the PA and KP singles and How Am I Driving?).

I can't say enough how cool it is that Lift and Big Boots (Man-o-War) are on this. Admittedly, I was never a big fan of I Promise but maybe the rework will sound better.

I was just hoping to see them one more time (I've only seen them twice and not since 2003).
  8. Well, I certainly like that idea.

Like the article implies, however, it's almost like they are cleaning up all loose ends by releasing those three tracks (they've never really done that in this manner) - kind of like preparing for a suicide (sorry if I'm coming off as insensitive here - I'm not trying to make light of suicide, just making the comparison).

Also, they've never been ones to (openly) support the re-release of stuff. Seems like an odd thing for them to do.

How did they get away with getting the rights to these songs back from EMI? I thought that record company had control of those recordings, no? (Not really sure how all that stuff works).

  9. A neat video
