GA's and seats for the DVD.

GA for Louisville and seats for Indianapolis! The best of both worlds!
  3. If anyone needs a presale code, I may have an extra. I was just emailed one for the New Orleans onsale but it just might work for anything?

In terms of format, this show favors GA, by far. It's not like 360 or even IE where you can get unique experiences from both, albeit IE has a unique GA experience if you can move around.

Regarding show logistics, I can definitely see how people would prefer seats over GA in a stadium show. I talked with people in GA who were recalling the fiasco of Rose Bowl 2009. When they started moving us early people were saying "this was like 2009" and everyone started getting very anxious.

Here's my thoughts. I went in Sunday night recalling how easy and accessible 360 was in GA. Then I remembered the difference in stage and set up. We could be at the 50 yard line and still have a great view. Whereas from the same perspective this time around the band seemed minute.

Don't get me wrong, I'll still take the GA anyday, but if they do eventually add this rumored Atlanta date, I might try walking around in the seated sections a bit during the show (the other advantage of GA - you can leave the field and go wander, then come back!
  6. GA is a great experience, but sometimes you just have the urge to spend $15 on beer and dippin dots and having seats give you the luxury to do that without worrying about positioning.

I sacrificed the perfect view for some parking lot tail gating and meeting people for about half way back on the field, where I actually had the freedom to come and go and get right back to position. Gave up having the band larger than life and being sandwiched in for the freedom and relied more on the screens, but the sound was great! And beers were only $11 in Miami!

    Dippin' Dots. Yum....

it sounds like seats might be better than GA floor standing for hours packed in like sardines with sweaty bodies is beginning to sound less appealing this time around!
