Glass Spider tour was amazing as well!! Saw that one from afar, but that show was almost better off to see from a distance with that stage!
  5. And there was the Amazing Carlos Alomar on guitar...
    Do you remember?
    ...guitar solo....SHUT UP!...
  6. Don't forget Peter Frampton and Charlie Sexton... and the amazing Erdal Kızılçay on keys...

And "Time" opening the encore with the angels wings from the top of spider's head... Wow.

Their business decisions and relationship with Live Nation suggest they are still determined to be a mass appeal band... they put out a shit song (Boots) on every album chasing a hit. All of them or just Bono and Edge want to be the biggest band in the world for as long as they are doing this.

    Hence my "selfish" solution disclaimer.

+1 to this. As much as I loved the indoor feel of I&E, I'm not sure the atmosphere of the 360 shows I attended will ever be topped for me. And even though this JT tour setup is quite intentionally basic, just being outside with 50,000 plus people all celebrating the same thing is awesome. But yeah, I'm with you on dreaming for an alternate indoor/outdoor tour before the band wraps it up for good, considering that the Experience & Innocence looks like it will be arenas again.
