The Little Things line is worked better in Stay. You'd think with the album taking so long to make, Bono could clean up some of his more lazy lyrics. I wonder what changes if any will be on the final album.

    Thread contribution: "Hey, sexy boots"
  2. A mole digging in a hole
    Digging up my soul
    Going down, excavation
I and I in the sky

Ruins every gig more or less. The sound is great but beyond lazy nonsense lyrics. It makes me think how hard pushed he must be to hold a dictionary to learn new words!

I don't see what's wrong with those lines.

That is actually a nice lyric from The Little Things in my opinion; I had to look it up though (here)
  5. As NeonTiger says, it works better in Stay ("When you talk, you talk at me"). I don't like it because it states the obvious, we shouldn't need guiding through lyrics like that. "You were talking at me" already implies that you weren't talking to me, but Bono says it anyway.
  6. Grace
    She takes the blame
    She covers the shame
    Removes the stain
    It could be her name

    End of, close topic.
  7. Grace is an acronym for The Little Snoozes That Give You Away
  8. boots, worst song worst lyric
  9. "Earthquake always happen when you're in bed, Fred"
