  1. It's also the quality I guess. Quality of the stream/recording. A proper album rip will work better.

  4. I want to like it, but the mind is making unfavourable comparisons with a/ the verse from Oasis All Around the World and b/ The Hokey Cokey. Agree the mix isn't helping, plus the fact that this is neither fish, flesh nor fowl. Is it a 'single'? An album track? A 'bonus' track like Holy Joe or Crystal Ballroom? An 'amuse bouche' like Invisible?

    If it's not a single, I'd say good album track. If it's a single then file next to Boots and All Because if You under WTF!
  5. It looks like they mixed the audience sounds over the studioversion from the song. I hope the album version sounds better but still far better for me then GOYB

    [Band member #2] Alright, I propose that we gather a couple hundred fans in a small venue so they can feel our passion and our punk rock from Venus in the flesh!

    [Band member #3] Great idea. Then we can re-use the light-trails effect from the Invisible video. That was fantastic, I tell thee.

    [Band member #1] Uhm, wasn't Invisible the last video that lots of people worldwide actually saw? That can be seen as laziness or lack of creativity from our side...

    [Band member #4] Bah people won't remember, it's been 3 years. Oh and another idea, let's have Larry wearing a white tee, and then a black tee in the next shot. That's a killer.

  9. The problem with the new song to me is not only the quality of the stream/recording with the audience mixed in. What annoys me is Bono's Big Girls Are Best vocal effect. Anyone agree?

  11. Same. I've already no desire to listen to it again. This is exceptional for U2 songs. And I will not understand it if they play it live on the next leg of the tour. I don't see any connection with the Joshua Tree.

    Totally disagree...

    The audio quality of the stream is annoying (mono & brick-walled) and the BGAB vocal effect is just thee BEST
