1. The fact the riff is sampled tampers a lot my enjoyment of this song.
I still like it, but I kinda look at it as an unwanted child...

Do you feel the same with DYFL?
  3. Well, that's totally different... because...
I don't like DYFL, not even considering the sampled part

I need to get over that, and enjoy it because it's a good maybe great song, but right now I'm enjoying more the Summer to Thirteen segment, which is in constant repeat...
  4. Whoa...

I consider myself (like many here) to be of the hardest of the hardcore of U2 fans, and I’m just learning now that DYFL is based off a sample..whoa

Either way, I don’t mind it. Sampling has become a part of the fabric of making music these days. It was probably the idea of Jacknife to jam off a Riff, and they liked it so much they kept it.
  5. What Do You Feel Loved is sampled from:
    Spoiler (click to toggle)

In fairness, the bit of My Song 5 that was sampled for The Lights of Home seems much less obvious/less of a major part of the song than the Do You Feel Love sample from Alien Groove Sensation.
  6. Oh man, this rocks. Definitely a SOI vibe there. Cedarwood Road Part II ♥
  7. It's more like Haim's song 2 with the samples.
  8. Is it me, or Best Thing and Blackout don't really fit 100% with the rest of the album?
  9. Bono sings a part like Liam Gallagher in "Gas Panic"
  10. Lyric attempt is in the first post. Few openings and uncertainties, please help me fill in the blanks and make corrections, would be greatly appreciated
