1. It seems that I'm the only one who thinks that it's one of the the best 5 songs of SOE
  2. Don't know if it's top 5 for me, but it's one of the 10 stellar songs in SOE out of 14. Not bad at all.
  3. Im with you!, Book of your heart is one of the best songs from U2 in a long while, among the best 3 on SOE.
The "Hotel California" ending is epic and Bono's voice, amazing.
Joshua tree meet passengers meet million dollar hotel.
  4. I'm so glad this song actually WENT SOMEWHERE, like I was hoping it would for the first half. I think they could have ramped it up even more, but I'm glad it did actually get bigger. Great song.

I was convinced this one was the one that was mentioned as "Frank Sinatra on the moon".
    It wasn't.
But I'd say this is Sinatra on Mars.
    I love it.

Again, like with Crystal Ballroom, I'll have to agree with the band that it doesn't fit in the album, despite being a top 5(?) song.
  6. Book of your heart has the sound i was hoping for from U2, after Pop. A mature organic sound.

Agree. Crystal ballroom is great too.
  7. Just noticed how freaking strong Bono sounds on this song. He's all deep and velvety at the start, then he starts belting out 'THE BOOK OF YOUR HEART' like it's goddamn Atomic Bomb, and then croons his way all through the last 45 seconds or so. Brilliant!
  8. Really do think this song should of been number 3/4 on the album.
  9. That ending...I could listen to it for hours.
Matthew is right, Bono is a chameleon in this song.
  10. This is good but never something I’d seek out to listen to. I’d use it as a “Look what else U2 can do” example to non-fans but it doesn’t belong on the album.
