1. What do you do at the Indianapolis Zoo? Sounds like a cool place to work!
  2. Nothing too interesting hahaha I mainly clean the grounds and operate the rides/attractions when the weather is nice.
  3. I was at that Louisville show
  4. Great interview! Another Man City fan, I've been a fan for decades, long before Pep and the big money arrived. lol

I'm heading over from Ireland for the Tottenham game on 16 December at The Etihad Stadium.

Yeah I started watching them like 2 years before they won the BPL. One of the greatest moments in sports history, Agueros goal against QPR still gives me goosebumps.
  6. Unfortunately not but it was fantastic nonetheless (my first show). Touching Bono during Exit...now that's uber cool
  7. I was gonna say maybe I saw you! But yeah it was so cool
  8. Great interview Guy
  9. Great interview, Guy!

Not that anyone asked me, but since I was also in GA at that Indianapolis show, I'm gonna jump in and throw in my own two cents about Guy:

So, by way of brief backstory, I went to the DC show and was GA...wound up being in a very similar spot (right by Larry's drum kit on the B-stage) for both shows. Even though I know some people say it's been played a lot and that the band have better songs, I would argue that Elevation was definitely the highlight of the encore of the DC show. So coming into the Indy show, I was definitely psyched to hear Elevation again. As Guy said, Bono came out to the tree stage to do Elevation and Vertigo...so since I know this is going to be a highlight for and Bono is close, I'm spending most of my time during these songs looking at Bono...and I see this (pardon the pun) guy just jumping up and down and LOSING HIS DAMN MIND at the top of the tree stage...and Bono is singing right at him during Elevation...and I'm thinking "Damn, who is this dude?" Haha. So Bono wandered around the tree stage a little bit during Vertigo...and then he went back over to Guy (who I didn't know before the show)...and I started to realize, holy shit, I've heard U2 play Vertigo 3 times now, and this is FAR and away the best/most energetic I've ever heard them play it...and Bono seems to have found this dude that he REALLY likes over at the top of the tree stage, since he is singing to him and ABSOLUTELY feeding off of his energy. (And holy shit, how does this guy in GA still feel his calves?!) We wound up getting an It's Only Rock 'n' Roll (But I Like It) snippet in Vertigo that night, which was fire, and then they played Best Thing for the first time.

So, I guess I say all of that to say this: Having been at the Indy GA show, I am convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that Bono fed off of Guy's energy and gave us an incredible performance in the encore, particularly of Vertigo, and I am so glad Guy was in the GA section and wound up at that spot for the Indy show...and I'm super bummed that I won't be going to any of the same E+I shows as him, since I'm sure he's going to find a way to make them (a little more?) better by being in GA and interacting with Bono and losing his mind (and dude, seriously, how have your calves not completely revolted yet?).

    Legend.

(I still owe you a drink or something.)
