1. They aren't very similar, IMO
  2. I'd like to see Bono enter the screen singing this one and emerge as The Fly or MacPhisto to sing The Fly or HMTMKMKM.

But anyhow - yeah, Sergio did it - I love that song! It just immediately popped into my head when reading early reviews of Showman.
dammit... he was the one right before Sergio so I got confused...

  4. Now that's a plan!
Though I think musically it would be too different!
But HMTMKMKM fits nicely with the general Experience theme. Could have a spot in the new tour.
  5. I do NOT want to see older Bono dressed as The Fly or Macphisto. Maybe if it was like an evolution of the character, but nah. The JT tour cashed in on “nostalgia” enough.

And that is I will fight anyone that doesn't love it.

Whenever I hear it I picture the band on the E stage and the crowd belting out “little more better”. Just an incredibly fun song.

I love it. One of my favourites from the album.

There's an Adam quote in U2 by U2, I think he was talking about COBL, saying easily the song came about, one of those moments in the studio where everything just clicked so quickly and naturally and created a classic U2 moment, and I feel like something similar happened on this. On the surface it's carefree, light on its feet, and jaunty, but not too far beneath the surface there's a dark melancholy to it. One of my go-to SOE tracks at the moment.
  7. It's a decent song that's hurt by a rather uninspired chorus
  8. this song has an awesome beachy vibe, I can always imagine myself lying on the sand with a cold drink in my hand jamming to this
  9. This song fast became my least favourite on SOE however after a month and a half I’m really enjoying it. Reminds me not to take life too seriously, and maybe not to take every u2 song too seriously at times.

That's what it's there for! It's the carefree, fun one.

I loved The Showman from the beginning and I just love it more every time I listen.
  11. I have to say this song has grown on me a lot (was one of my least favorites on the first listen). I like almost the entire song, except the chorus. I can't stand they way they sing "little mo' little mo'" but other than that
