Just because two songs sound slightly similar doesn't mean it was on purpose.

It's just like when Vanilla Ice's awesome song sounded slightly similar to Under Pressure. This is just the same. Clearly a coincidence.
    That's not a coincidence
Vanilla Ice Too a sample ( bass line ) from Under pressure For His Song
If you want coincidence listen to I'm Your pusher by Ice-T then play a Song by Vanilla Ice ( if he made more than one)

would you sign a band named captian america or green jello...it happened both names being known trade marks.

I’m not even talking about the management etc but there must have been more people in the studio than just Lana, it really surprises me nobody said that’s too similar to creep. I wonder how it would have been dealt with if she had got in touch with Radiohead prior to release. Would they have wanted credited or money or both.
  3. Well.curiosity brought me Here
Curiosity made me listen to Get Free by Lana
    What a shame.that's all
    Radiohead : Don't pretend the 100%
Lana : Destroy this Song.get rid of it.make it disappear from the face of the Planet.thank u

I was sure that the Vanilla Ice reference would make it obvious that it was sarcasm...

That's the first thing I thought. How on earth could anyone hear that without breaking into the chorus from Creep?! I'm sure they'll work it out though. Radiohead have always ploughed a pretty straight furrow.
  6. creep of radiohead is only by the band of oxford, everything else is rubbish

Haha, either you caught us off guard or your sarcasm gun wasn't well loaded yesterday It didn't come across as sarcasm at all, but now I get it.

It's not the same case since Vanilla directly sampled Under Pressure if I recall correctly, and Lana has simply created a song that sounds the same as Creep but without actually sampling or making it too obvious for the non trained ear.
