  4. I love his drumming, great fill! The past few tours I noticed that he incorporated some really great little things in some songs, e.g. Bullet on I&E.
  5. i remember Daniel Lanois saying around about the recording of Achtung Baby that he'd never experienced a harder hitting drummer than Larry. this clip proves that. must be hard on his hands in the long run. i also believe that during the Zooropa-era I read somewhere (Bill Flanagan's Zoo Tv book?) that Larry had trouble with his back and had to inject bull's blood.

    Haha, I love that part of the book. Larry doesn't really confirm or deny it, but he says that it's mainly due to exercises and not the bull's blood.

    I think it was maybe Sheila Roche who heard that (about the bull's blood) and said "...it makes so much sense." haha.
