Good for them. Regardless if it's too on the nose or whatever, it shows balls. Just for that I love it.

About the antifa or whatever discussion, it's just whataboutism. "Don't say anything mean about x unless you also point the finger at y" is nonsense, "x" is wrong so it's great that they pointing at it.

It's not that the kkk is roaming on the streets of USA, it's just that some of the arguments of many supporters of Trump are at least close enough to the kkk ideas that the kkk itself is very pleased with it.

If someone identifies themselves as Trump supporters and your problem with the video is that "you support Trump but you don't agree with the kkk at all", good, the video is not attacking you in any way.

But if your problem with the video is that "you may agree with kkk on some issues, BUT there's nothing wrong with it, and/or also the other side has issues", then yes, you should feel attacked with the video, because that's exactly the problem they are addressing with it: kkk ideas are roaming free and unashamed in everyday life since a couple of years ago.
I have absolutely no problems with this video or the message it brings. It speaks truth and it sends a message. And I am no supporter of the current administration.

That said, I am a little unclear at the rest. "Don't say anything mean about x unless you also point the finger at y" is nonsense, "x" is wrong so it's great that they pointing at it."? If "x" is wrong, yes, "y" should definitely call them out, but if you call them out by using the same approach as "x" , what does that make "y"? You can call "y" right and "x" wrong?

The fact that this is considered nonsense is part of the problem, that we all need to Get Out of Our Own Way and be rational human beings. If we have convictions, be brave enough to speak for them. Stand for them. Show your face. Show your emotion. Don't destroy property. Don't hurl things at one another. Don't fight for free speech and then firebomb a venue that has a speaker who's speech you don't agree with, or intimidate those who choose to go and see him. How does that lead to progress?

Again, we can debate this all day long. For me, both sides are wrong. I'm not saying one side isn't way, way wrong compared to the other - but even so, two wrongs never make anything right...
  2. One side are white supremacists/klansmen/neo-nazis/fascists. One side is not.

My grandma had to flee from Lithuania in the 1940's because nazis were invading. The final straw for them leaving was when her brother was protesting fascism and the nazi party, was arrested for it, thrown in a jail cell and was murdered because they threw a grenade in the locked cell.

So yeah, it's hard for some people to not want to resort to violence when the same rhetoric used back then is spewed in America today. Violence is never the answer, but it'd be for real hard for me not to smack a white supremacist right in the mouth if they were marching around my neighborhood.

And I would have no problem with you knocking a white supremacist in the mouth. As long as you weren't hiding behind a mask or smashing someone's windows out and torching their property...

My point was that the fact that both sides are wrong doesn't mean that you're not allowed to say anything wrong about one side unless you call out both sides.

That's what I think is nonsense.

It would be wrong to defend one side violence while attacking the other's, but I don't see them defending or glorifying antifa in the video.

I just see them taking on the fact that many people are really comfortable with Trump's administration take on issues that the kkkish groups clearly approve.

A couple of years ago, people would distance themselves immediately from statements that sound anything as kkk friendly as what Trump has said more than once, but now that same people is no longer saying "I don't support those views", now they are saying things like "well, but it isn't really wrong", or "well, but antifa and BLM is wrong too". That's crazy. And that's the video.

[edit]On the other hand, I hate about the "left" that people are sooo easily offended by anything. People need to get thicker skins. Not everything is racist, sexist or whateverist, even if some things are[/edit]
