All good. Just one thing though, pj isn’t a jam band. They pretty much pound through their songs pretty straigh forward except for one or two songs. No meandering bass or flute solos here. Lol.
They are Jam band, they have it in the name
  2. Sweet..but still not worth installing bloated FB on my phone
  3. Even though I’ve ranted about this tour a lot I have to say that the opening with Love is all we have left and The Blackout might be my favorite opening to a U2 show ever. Its probably tied with Pop Muzik + Mofo opening.
  4. regarding Love is all...

is there any reason why B is not actually singing the song?
Playback in a U2 concert? yack....

He is (for some parts) singing over his own voice, I think there is a meaning behind it. As if someone from far away if telling him something, and he wants to sing along with it. Like a duo with himself.

    (all part of the narrative!)

U2 has never really mixed it up that much as far as songs played even before the techology was introduced to their concerts. Yes there was more but not like Pearl Jam. U2 are not, never have been and will never will be a jam band. (See my argument back is the same old response to the comparison!) LOL

I'm a fairly large fan of both bands and would be first to preach about how they're completely different bands/shows - I just meant to remark that I'd seen many PJ songs on the same setlists night in and night out, and was surprised to still count as many different songs as I did.

This thread has primarily been about setlist rotation etc., and we have many civil Pearl Jam friends on the board that I'm friends with (some very close with), hence the post. Did not mean to irritate!

  7. Saw this one the other day.
Don’t know if it’s a poster or something
Looks like the small house that’s on stage with “13” in concert
