Joshua Tree Tour 2017
Legs (3): Leg 1 - North America, Leg 2 - Europe, Leg 3 - The Americas
Shows: 54
  1. I remember having taken the best time in Paris 26 july !
    it was great !!!
  2. I think I was particularly lucky to see them on the first show of the European leg at Twickenham as they had the perfect combination of being well rehearsed but with the benefit of a small break prior to the show. The band seemed to really enjoy playing that night and the performance level seemed very good and energetic. I will always regard the tour very highly for them playing one of the best albums ever at every show.
  3. Yes very nice show. Let me tell you a special moment. I met a really good spanish guy who is also a drummer. We were standing just in front of Larry in b stage. A really few minutes before the show, drumtech Sammy went back and install a special drumkit. My new friend told me they Will play 'A sort of homecoming'. I was really surprised as they did not play the song in their hometown. Bur He was right !! We really have good time, hearing direct live sound from Larry hiting strong the drums.

  11. Not too sure if this is the best thread to ask this but did anyone ever put together a "Best of the Joshua Tree 2017" tour compilation - namely for the 11 JT songs - using the high-quality-sound performances from the bootlegs that exist? Something along the lines of what we just received for the i+e tour?

I have the four subscription downloads from 2017 and the New Roots version of RHMT but was wondering if anyone did anything with all the songs? I'm hoping maybe something like this will be available for the 2020 gift (really want a solid version of Exit, RTTS, etc.) but need something to tide me over.

Oddly enough, I'm listening to U2 again (which might be a strange thing to post around here but I have to admit, I had lost quite a bit of interest over the past couple of years and, well, was a bit... worried). I guess a tour on the other side of the world can still light a fire in me!
