Pushed back vs the original intention/rumour indeed. Its all rumours here
  2. I believe the original intention was to have it released in 2018, but a date like 9 March 2019 feels just like it was made up by someone.

Yes, they were originally working on the premise that the film would be released in late 2018 when work started on the project. That was before the video was edited or the sound mixed. They started working on the project with the intention it would be out in 2018, and that work was done into September. By the time that work was ready the date had been shifted to a first half of 2019 date.

The article on U2Songs on November 14 said: "We were originally told that the video would come out this fall. But more recently we have been told that we should expect the film to be ready next spring" (Spring starts in late March in North America...)

The article on December 11 said: "We are told that the home video release should be in the first half of 2019, with the Experience + Innocence video release in the second half of 2019." Not really considering this a delay. Still fits into the dates that had been shared with us previously.
  4. I've seen a few music films at the cinema and they're normally Monday-Wednesday screenings. Probably, as they're shown only as a one-off screening it helps to get bums on seats when it would normally be quieter. I can't see this being shown on March 9th as it's a Saturday. But you never know. Only time will tell.
