You can hear the surprise and excitement on the recording. My only thought that night was "I hope they don't end with ISHFWILF" and then they did this, goosebumps allover indeed.
  2. I think the Amsterdam-version of bad with 40 snippet followed with 40 is the best way to end the i+e cd
  3. Bad/40 is the best way to end every U2 show
  4. if the cd respect the cycle and concept 2015-2018 it would be good if the closing song of the tracklist is the closing song of the later tour, i.e. 13 is perfect
  5. Getting impatient here , when the downloads are coming
  6. Classic U2.com
  7. I called U2.com help support again yesterday, they said it should be sometime this month. Whoever they go through actually getting the songs confirmed everything on February 2nd but they weren’t given a date as to when the songs would be available just that it should be this month.
  8. So if we're unlucky it'll take another 2-3 weeks
  9. What I don’t understand is why u2.com don’t learn there lesson and stop announcing dates that they can’t keep to. They specifically said from January to dispatch we would be getting offered downloads regularly, if they had just said that ‘prior to the release’ we would be getting downloads then surprised us with the vote they did it would have been fine but by stating January they have given people expectations and failed to deliver again. It seems almost inevitable now we won’t be getting the cd’s until the summer at the earliest as opposed to late spring, why not be more realistic, they can’t be doing anything other than guessing when they come up with dates.

I think people get too caught up in these gifts - they'll arrive when they arrive and I'll be grateful when mine arrives and have it on repeat I'm sure, but people need to chill out about the exact times that they'll be delivered I think - don't forget they need to get these things all over the world!

People get caught up because dates are promised, or at least announced. If it was like “You’ll receive this gift whenever. It will be a U2 related surprise.” It would be way different.

You’ve completely missed or sidestepped the point. I didn’t ask for the downloads to be delivered in January they said they would be. Why bother saying it if they aren’t going to keep to there word? Why bother saying late spring when they probably won’t keep to that either. Yes I’ll be happy when it arrives, grateful? Not so much, I’m paying for it, it’s not as labelled ‘a gift’ when you pay for it.
