1. Oh man Hawaii! Ugh this tour sounds sick already
  2. Where has Hawaii come from?

Are they just guessing because of 2006?
  3. It will all end being an elaborate prank
  4. well, he's clearly joking.. maybe not on the first read, but once you read it again and you see for example he's talking about a reLIEable source it becomes more obvious. A bit of a misplaced joke/prank, whatever you want to call it.
  5. I refuse to believe it.
  6. Really interested to see which cities outside of Australia/NZ get shows.

Was in Singapore earlier this week, lovely city. 55,000 seat stadium near the centre.
  7. I thought that way when things started going quiet but the amount of updates over the last few days has made me more convinced it’s going to happen than not. It sort of makes sense, after a full year out the band will be fresh and probably desperate to get going again. This will put a big tick beside the rest of the world and it takes the pressure of them for a while regarding visiting these places in future tours.

yes, me too. It's getting more and more likely. Singapore also seems like a place U2 can play. Actually there is no reason not to go to Australia and Asia next year, except for some quotes by the band last year and the narrative of the past tour(s).
  9. These additional rumors are getting me excited!
  10. Anyone here done any asian GA lines before? U2 in Tokyo, or other acts in Asia? The GA lines would be a total unknown for me.

Singapore could be a bit of a nightmare. Average high in December is 31C, one of the cooler months. Though it doesn't vary much at all, being so close to the equator. I'm sure it's ridiculously humid then too. November/December are the wettest months, with over 300mm of rain in December! That is a hell of a lot of rain! More than some places get in a year. I think that a high proportion of that rain falls in afternoon/evening thunder storms.

Maybe Singapore would be a good candidate for an inside GA line. If people don't want to die before they get to the end of the show.
