    ....Mastodont?

Please don't think me rude, I'm genuinely very curious, as I study mastodons - I clicked on your profile, @Pipo, and see you're from the Netherlands... is "mastodon" (or "mastodont") an expression over there to mean really big, rather than "mammoth" is over here in the US? Or was this perhaps just a English-translation sorta thing? I can see how mastodon/mammoth could get jumbled in translation.

At any rate I'd combine U2 and mastodons. My two biggest interests at once.
  2. No mastodont means old, like from an other age
  3. It’s a common phrase in Holland, hear it often in politics. Like old partisians running for something
  4. But still alive
  5. 😂
  6. But mastodont is also used in the meaning of:

—> ‘huge’, for example a huge company as a result of merges: a mastodont.
—> ‘huge/important’, referring to an important person/group member and as Pipo said, jokingly referring to the past in which his achievements were made: dinosaur age—> mastodont

Back to the tour rumours now...
  7. Dinasours were still alive when U2 last played Australia?
  8. Just one side note:

    Mastodont (with a "t") = Dutch

Mastodon (without the "t") = English

...and I'm pretty sure U2 will wait with the announcement till this thread reaches the 200 pages mark (15 post per page)

Nice! How certain are you of this info?

Fits into the rumours that we know.. expect for TJT part, but I can understand if sources even within U2 think its the TJT tour, given that its a similar stage.

Edit: Macau has no real stadium.
