1. Yes. I'm from Perth so I'll go to the two shows there and I intend to fly to Sydney and watch the two shows there with a mate.
On a side note is there any U2.com subscriber who doesn't intend to go who would be willing to give me their presale code? Since I intend to buy tickets for both the Perth and Sydney shows I'm assuming that my presale code will be unable to cover both shows even though I only intend to buy 2 tickets for both.

I'm a bit confused as to whether your buying two tickets per Sydney show (for you & your friend), or just a single ticket per show (for yourself).

Be aware that the ticket allocation for the u2.com presale will be 4 tickets (it was 2 tickets for the arena tours).

So if it's just a single ticket per show, you should be able to cover all Perth & Sydney shows with your presale allocation.

Also be aware that for Perth the ticket seller will be Ticketmaster. While for Sydney is most likely to be Ticketek. In the past some people have used their code more than their allocation allows. Using it more than one country's Ticketmaster site. It appears that these organisations don't communicate, when it comes to the use of presale codes. So it may may be possible to use more than your 4 ticket allocation, by using it for both Ticketmaster & Ticketek. Though this is a risk, g you could have all your tickets cancelled. In any case, as it's a stadium tour, it should be possible to get tickets quite easily, even in the general sale.
  3. If I had the time and money I'd totally make the trip. But as it stands for me financially, no chance.
  4. As it's JT again, probably not. If it was something else I would think of Singapore

To clarify I'd be buying a ticket for me and a friend in both cases. So it would be four tickets in total.

I think I had previously read somewhere (don't remember where though) that in previous tours your code could only be used once, so you weren't able to purchase tickets for multiple shows regardless of whether or not you had reached your presale ticket cap.

Have you heard about anyone getting their tickets cancelled before? I don't think it would happen but I guess it is a possibility. I did think that the Ticketmaster/Ticketek split might allow me to use the code twice.

Yeah true being a stadium tour I should be able to get what I want even during the general sale, I think I should have access to the stadium presale for Optus Stadium in Perth so I should be covered anyway. Shouldn't be too much of an issue if I end up going GA all the way anyway.
  6. Singapore represent! I hope Macphisto shows up.

Previous tours you could use your code more than once if you hadn't reach your cap, only some ticket vendors were excluded from this because their systems did not support it. U2.com should clarify that if that's the case.

I heard of people having their tickets canceled before. But those always exceeded the cap.
  8. Most likely Brisbane for me, Sydney x 2 (home show), then Tokyo x 2 (if I can get tickets).
  9. we going try for Adelaide and Melbourne or it will be 11 days on Road trip vacation in Iceland.
  10. I think it was only in Europe e+i where it wasn’t allowed to split the code. It was allowed in NA and on the two previous tours.

  11. Update: Finance Director has not said "no" and is open to the idea of me going
  12. Will aim for Tokyo and Seoul.
