  1. Yeah.

Someone also mentioned to me that Japan (used to be a) country with loads of scalpers. Who will all want to be in for this presale too. Any Japanese able to update us on that? Is that still the case?
  2. It seems that is not possible to open up an account with PIA. I friend of mine had issues, and his credit card is not accepted. Is there a solution for this problem?
Has anyone here been successfull with open up an account and enter the cc details?

I don't think you need to. I looked at the English presale for other acts and the foreigner registration was separate. So the presale for foreigners will just have its own site and registration.
  4. Can you send me the link Remy?
For the English presale page. I didn't find an English page where a login is possible and where U2 is listed.
  5. You can find a link to a detailed guide and mini site on twitter wegen you search for Live Nation Japan.

That twitter account , if i recall, had a link to a website. Its their pinned tweet ( first post ) a whole webpage fulltime of info on how the sale works.
U2.com had instructies as well. I’m sure of it.
  6. As a long-time JP resident I can say Remy is right, any international lottery will be on a special site by Ticket Pia, but separate from their Japanese site (and accounts). You can't open a regular Pia without a Japanese mobile phone (SMS verification) but you won't need such an account for fan club presale.
The link to the fan club pre-sale will probably become available just very shortly before it begins, if not at 12:00 sharp. But as written before, there won't be any need to get up early or stay up late in other time zones. It doesn't matter what time you apply, as long as it's before June 6, 17:00. I just double-checked: they don't explicitly mention lottery system, so it might be first-come-first-served.

Scalpers: yes, that used to be a huge problem. Thanks to the upcoming Tokyo Olympics 2020 a new law is coming into effect in a week or so, that makes scaling illegal, no matter if online or offline. It used to be illegal in (non-virtual) public places only. Still hard to tell how serious professional scalpers take that threat. Scalping probably won't reach former heights anymore, though.
  7. So the stage is going to be laid out like Brussels? The stage being on the long end of the stadium.
