1. All That You Can't Leave Behind

Beautiful Day - 100% - Now we're going into the millenium of U2 with Beautiful Day. A great melody riff that has never missed a tour since it debuted in the promo tour in September of 2000 and has continued to stay as a regular fan favorite for all 6 tours, but this is the 7th tour it's most likely to be on this show.

Elevation - 100% - Next to Beautiful Day, it has also stayed as a regular fan favorite for all of the 6 tours, Elevation and Beautiful Day have been loyal through all the tours. On the 2017 Joshua Tree Tour, it was a major encore knockout when Beautiful Day, Elevation and Vertigo were all played together, I think it's a good idea we see that again.

Stuck In A Moment - 65% - This song has previously missed the last 2 tours, The Joshua Tree 2017 Tour and the Experience & Innocence Tour except for the Promo Tours, And i thought this would've been a good candidate for the 2017 Joshua Tree Tour in the encore, would've been done electric and full band instead of the acoustic Piano version. It's a possibility for this song to be put on the set.

Walk On - 50% - I never give up hope for this song. Walk On has missed the last 3 tours since 2011, And it's a possibility that we may see it again, maybe have it close the set in the encore since 2001.

Kite - 75% - This song is due for a revival, cause the last time they played Kite was in the Australian Tour in Vertigo in 2006, it's been 13 years since the song hadn't been played although it was close to make it to the 360 Tour in 2011 in South Africa, but did not. I thought Kite was also going to make it to Experience and Innocence, and have it played right before Stay (Faraway So Close) because I see Kite and Stay together as a medley, I think it's likable that this song is played.

How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb

Vertigo - 100%. A Hard rock hitting Rock Song that has stayed throughout the past 5 tours, the last time Vertigo came on to the Joshua Tree was 2017 when it was played between Beautiful Day and Elevation, And I think this is going to happen again. So I don't have to tell you this song won't be played, because it will.

City of Blinding Lights - 80% I was hoping this song would make it to the 2017 Joshua Tree Tour but it just technically didn't have a spot in there, it should've started out the encore. But it did not, it should be noted that this needs to be played, because for the last four tours. It has stayed on, and it also closed out the main set, what if it closes as an encore. Most likely.

All Because of You - 60% - I gotta tell you, I was very surprised to see All Because of You back in the tour since 2006, caught me off guard there. But I would love to see this song be played cause it has never been played in Australia before, I could see that happen.
  2. Walk On - 50% - I never give up hope for this song. Walk On has missed the last 3 tours since 2011, And it's a possibility that we may see it again, maybe have it close the set in the encore since 2001.
    Do you know...
  3. I would love to see Kite again
  4. I think the OP is a bit excitable with percentages.

According to this, about nine songs are locked in statistically:

    Beautiful Day 1
    Elevation 1
    Stuck 0.65
    Walk On 0.5
    Kite 0.75
    Vertigo 1
    City of Blinding Lights 0.8
    All Because of You 0.6
    Miss Sarajevo 0.8
    Discotheque 0.55
    Staring at the Sun 0.7
    Please 0.75

    Total 9.1

    Plus the 11 from JT.
  5. JT, Zooropa & Pop, that´s it
  6. I could see Stuck being played at Sydney 1 since it’s the anniversary of the death of Michael Hutchence. That or Gone. I would prefer both.

Never liked Stuck in a moment particularly when Edge starts singing like a scalded cat but it seems to be a real favourite song among the band ,Gone would be amazing to hear again but I just can't see them adding it to this tour they'll be eager to keep the masses happy with hits after they play TJT.

If I could choose I would take Gone and Please but you’re probably right they will stick to the hits.

  9. I think there have been some good versions in recent years. I used to not like it, but have come around to Stuck
  10. I'd love to see Kite make a comeback but I'm not sure how they would do it as Bono can not longer play guitar...
  11. they should like start with Streets and along with all remaining tracks from the album - put some stuff that fits the narrative of the Joshua Tree neverminding the original tracklist order. Songs like Please, Peace on Earth, Wire should have a go too.
