1. Kinda interesting vocal analysis of Bono's studio performance of Streets
  2. What was that version of Streets on the I&E tour where bono for like a verse and a half sung it like it was the joshua tree tour again, really belted it like he hadn't in ages
  3. I think you'll find that people say he did that in the final Chicago show
  4. This one?

  5. the best !!!
  6. Definitely!!! It started with a countdown from 15 to 0 by Dave Fanning, then Auld Lang Syne, and then Streets.. I‘m getting goosebumps every time I hear it, and I still can’t believe that I was there (my 2nd U2 concert).

Second best version of Streets definitely is at Slane Castle, the transition from All I Want Is You where Bono shouts his heart out „This is Paul.. this is Paul“..

But my new favorite is this one(listen to it, you wont regret it :
In the recent years Bono haven't put much energy and effort on the song, but on the 2015-07-02 - Chicago show he suddenly came in other thougts.
I don't know why he doesn't sing it like this more, he really sounds like he did on Lovetown.

Listen from 2:20:40 (when he starts to sing it like in the 80s) in the video below, the lines "The city's a flood
And our love turns to rust" just begin shortly after that time.

Besides the lyrical miss in the opening line of the song, this is one of the best version ever to me, the band plays it very well and Bono mix his 1989 voice with his current voice and it gives the song an energy I haven't seen since the 80s.

You wont regret listen to this performences

A tips is also to listen to WOWY from the show, Bono does a really good job in that one too.

Fingers crossed Bono has a crack like this on JT19... it's only 13-14 shows, c'mon B-man
