A bit different with the scale of the 360 set up, but I do remember when we first walked into the venue it seemed like the seats were back a bit, didn’t pay too much more attention though as there was a huge claw in front of me that was grabbing my attention more. I took a bit of a look at the vertigo (far end) and JT17 (side on) views from Brussels online from pictures and videos as I thought this was a good way to compare, I also checked out some of the Singapore shows from different artists and I still prefer the side on set up overall, both have there advantages and disadvantages but if I had to pick a set up and a view it would be straight on with a side on set up. In conclusion glad I’ve got GA both nights lol.
Comparing JT17 experiences (London, Amsterdam, Brussels) I would say the worst was Amsterdam for dreadful sound where I was (CAT1 seats).

The rest (heat at Twickenham & unusual stadium configuration at Brussels) were fine and did not detract from an amazing, moving show (better than the original JT in my experience).

My only slight worry about Singapore would be sound (who knows?) & temperature/humidity
...but it will be an adventure for sure !
  2. There has been issues with the sound in the past from what I’ve read but it seems to have got significantly better more recently, an artist called Jay Chou has played the stadium a few times and his last performance got much better reviews regarding the sound than in previous years, theres a few other examples you might find online as well, u2 should be able to get the most out of the venue.
    Just for reference

  3. Unless you were near the front at twickenham I have heard several complaints about the sound quality.
  4. Twickenham was beyond awful. One of the worst gigs I've ever done.
  5. I think you had to be near the front for twickenham based on what people have said. Don’t think there was any complaints from down in GA, was probably right up there amongst there best for me.
  6. Twickenham's sound was OK? Far better than Wembley.

I had both GA and a seat in one of the back corners, middle tier. The seat was worse but not the worst I've heard.

We were sat lower tier, just further back than the half way line and the sound was perfect 👍🏼

For Twix it has always been bloody transport problems and heat. I swore never again but did do 2017 after 2005. Sound was good on the rail and mid and back GA.

Amsterdam Arena was worst ever for sound with 1993 ZooTV Cologne a close second.

Singapore will be perfect... it needs to be given the cost involved (please !!!)
  9. Twickenham always has problems with acoustics, it's not exclusive to U2, We were sat on the side lower tier and it sounded fantastic but there were times when you could hear the sound bouncing back from the end opposite the stage. Other than the usual busy London roads getting there was pretty easy - Bus from our Heathrow hotel to Hounslow then jumped on the free shuttle bus service.

Wembley is designed so that sound reverberates - we did the tour and the guide gets you to shout and you can genuinely hear the noise travelling round the seats
  10. Only 147 days to go....

  11. We are under 150 days! Great news
