  1. update was it. thanks a lot!
  2. scored GA for Adelaide and Sydney. Now, let's wait for Sydney2...
  3. I'm just curious, guys.

Why did the band skip Adelaide on 360?

After all, they went to Adelaide on Vertigo and they're returning to Adelaide for this tour.

Was it some sort of logistics thing on 360?

Good question. They did the same thing here in the States with Atlanta, a city they'd always spent time in on both i/e and tjt30 before they finally returned for e/i...
  5. My guess is that Adelaide got skipped on 360 because that tour was so expensive to put in, and it probably wouldn’t have been able to be profitable with just 1 Show. They wouldn’t have been able to do a 2nd show.

As far as Atlanta, I believe it was probably scheduled to be part of the 2016 I&E tour that never happened. Atlanta was also supposed to be part of the Joshua Tree September leg, but the new stadium was not ready in time. Coldplay also skipped Atlanta on the last tour for the same reason, wanting to play there roughly in the same timeframe. I don’t understand why they didn’t do 2 Atlanta shows in 2018? That was one of the shows that actually sold out somewhat quickly.
  6. is there a chance for a second show in Adelaide ?

Ever since U2 started touring stadiums in Australia they've been alternating between Adelaide & Perth. One city gets a show on a tour, the other gets a show the next tour.

It's Adelaide's turn this time. But this has become the exception, with Perth getting a show too. Probably because Perth 360 sold so well (more tickets sold than both Sydney & Melbourne), & because they've got a shiny new stadium.
  8. Adelaide, having the smallest population of the 5 major cities, is always the most likely to be skipped if a band tours Australia.
Less population = Less potential tickets sold.

This might be U2's last Australian tour so they are doing all the cities.
  9. Weird... up until today this show was sold out of Category 4 and 5 seating and Red zone. Now tickets are available in every category.
