Tour: Joshua Tree Tour 2019
Songs played: 25
Audio recordings: 3
Videos: 1
  1. Plus there's a chance - yes only a chance - that it could be significantly different from JT30. By the time tours reach Australia they're usually a bit different from what was seen in the northern hemisphere (more hits I suppose). But this time around the wait is even more significant. 2 years since JT30, plus this part of the world missed both of the arena tours.

Yeah, if anything it'd by JT30 + i+e+i if we're very lucky. But those newer songs in a stadium could be very interesting.
  2. Same with me. Off to Japan. It'll will be much more than just a U2 show. I'm actually only seeing one show. But planning on seeing the sights, & go snowboarding.
  3. Just 598 tickets left for the show but at this point a second show feel dead end right? Can still always hope for a second show

It's still open as far as I know but yeah its unlikely.
  5. Singapore we were told was not getting a second night .
    You never know
  6. I was chatting to someone a couple of weeks ago who seems to be in the know and they reckoned it was still likely. Can’t see it myself tbh, but holding out booking return flight just in case.

Currently 570 rear standing left. Gone down about 150 in a week so very slow trickle.

It must be creatively draining for the band to be doing another JT tour whatever deal they did with LN must tie them into performing it again down under, they were so eager to put out SOE the same year as the last JT tour to prove they were not turning into a nostalgia act and tour off the back of that whether they freshen the set list up remains to be seen as they would be eager to perform some songs from the last 2 albums to the fans who never got to hear them live before but U2 are not known to be a 30 song band like Pearl jam, GnR or Bruce when they tour but hopefully they do add a few songs to the usual 20 odd that they normally play.
  8. I just emailed Live Nation Korea as want to find out about 2nd show so can sort flights. They replied:

We don't have any plan for second show right now.

    Thank you,
    Live Nation Korea

The use of ‘right now’ suggests it is still a possibility but I reckon it is a no goer.
  9. The announcement of the show in the Philippines today for Dec 11 would seem to officially end any hope for a second show in Seoul on Dec 9.
  10. Yes. Seoul 2 is dead.
