I love Paris gigs, great crowds...been going every tour since 1997 but this time missing out fur Amsterdam & Brussels instead
  2. Hard to believe it's a week since the gig....am in sunny (yes sunny).west Ireland on a trip home with cold Guinness reminiscing
  3. This time 2 years ago I was in the GA queue

    It was so hot.
  4. Ridiculously hot that day.

Sound was the worst thing I've ever experienced.

Second worst gig I've ever attended.
  5. TJT in Miami was hot AF
  6. Barcelona was hot.
  7. Yeah I don't recall London being very hot either. Nowhere near the other examples But of course for UK-ers it was very warm
  8. The start of a great weekend for me and my old man, his first U2 concert and my second. He loved it, was amazed at how good Bono's voice was, the weekend was made even better the day after, we got to see Tom Petty!

Were you in the queue all day?

    I was dying.

It was fine once in the stadium and the sun went away at like 8pm.

It was absolutely roasting outside and on the pitch. We used umbrellas for shade while waiting and water was rationed to keep some spare !
A few people passed out near us before and during the gig. When the sun went down it was bearable.
(And I remember balancing energy expended, remaining water & toilet needs during in the gig !)
  11. Of course I was! No queue no party.
  12. So nostalgic of this. Such a great day! Easily my favourite U2 show and one of my favourite shows by anyone ever.
