  1. Also my favourite U2 show and one of my favourite by anyone. And the live recording captures the whole atmosphere of this gig so well, I still listen to this gig at least twice per month!
  2. An excellent 2 gigs at Twickenham... right up there with the best. So emotional.

They easily surpassed my experience at JT17 Amsterdam and Brussels and as I said before, IMHO in fact better than JT87 gigs at Wembley and Edinburgh.
  3. Not really much I can say about this show that I haven’t said before. Just amazing really, a great gig and some all time highlights in there.
  4. Great bootleg of this show too.
  5. I was at both!

Me too u2 sat Tom petty Sunday. Tom was last minute decision. I said to my girl I gotta go see Tom he only been in UK once in 20 years, and now so glad I did after his death. Great weekend
  7. I remember the TP ads on the Tube.

U2 was great on saturday, but Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers the next day was on a whole other level. I know, apples & oranges.
  9. Day 1- drinking around Richmond then heading into the stadium after 5pm, no queuing and still got a great spot to right of stage. Met Neil McCormick and Remy 👍. Great gig although loads of people around us didn’t really get into the lesser known songs.

Day 2- nursed hangover with a trip around London, again headed into the stadium after gates open but went opposite side, preferred this show as people around us were well into it.

Superb weekend and great bootlegs to have as souvenirs.
  10. I know the London JT30 shows were over two years ago.

But since then, I've been badgered by one question:

Why did these London shows take place Twickenham Stadium instead of Wembley Stadium?
  11. I think that Wembley was booked by Adele.
But then she lost her voice.
    But I'm not sure.
