Joshua Tree Tour 2019
Legs (1): New Zealand, Australia and Asia
Shows: 15
  1. That’d be great. It’s a nice, short, simple song, it’d be easy to use as a breather before something, like how it often preceded Bullet back on Lovetown. Back then it was also a lovely singalong... but that was back then...

Man, add in a couple more Mofos and I'll vote for your setlist, but I'd still like a bit more for one concert !
  3. Listening back to the 2017 tour and getting excited for this next round! The Asian gigs should be something special.
  4. Phenomenal band performance but I was so underwhelmed by the visuals for the JT part of the 2017 tour. Perhaps they will change. Especially for Streets sigh.

Or none at all, especially for Japan & Korea which are basically indoor shows, so might follow the IE & EI path.
I don't think they'll opt to have or not have support band depending on the type of venue. That would be unfair for those attending Saitama and Seoul, and also the first time ever that they change between having or not having a support band within the same tour... Nah, I don't think it'll happen.

It's strange that it hasn't been announced yet, though
  6. Fingers crossed it's Noel then just to give Remy the shits
  7. Hey everyone. I keep hearing on various U2 fan forums that an arena tour in South America, Australia/NZ, and Asia would not be profitable for the band.

Yet, the band did arenas in Europe in 2015 and last year. And their demand is mega-huge throughout Europe.

Why wouldn't an arena tour in SA, Aus/NZ, and Asia be profitable for the band?
  8. Well for a start..NZ does not really have an arena capable of supporting the band. The 8,000 seat vector arena in Auckland does not cut it really although big artists have played there before. From a production sense on the scale of U2 itd be hard. Cant speak for Aus but they are in a much better position than NZ to pull it off.
  9. Anyone know if it will be possible to sell/trade the GA tickets at all? I had something come up and won't be able to make my shows...

Love the mobile only tickets until this happens.

    Logistics.

The distances in Europe are very short compared to Australia/NZ/SA/Asia.
