1. They were great...a carnival of chaos as Bono described them but it took a bit if warming up after all the rain that day!

For me the one that stands out is Stereophonics at Bercy, Paris in 2001...they really put a lot of energy into the crowd & won me over totally.

Some many others I think have been quite lame.

Even HFG 4 times wuth no stage presence was 3 times too many for me in 2017.

  2. I remember them at Wembley...and I was sort of looking forward to it but in the end it was not a music problem, I think it was the singer's disrespectful attitude. I think he may have had issues which he is hopefully recovered from now.

  3. IMHO zero stage craft or presence but the music is good for a nice Oasis singalong.

Attitude is sort of the core of Rock music. I agree that Noel was sort of bland at Twickenham.
  5. What I meant was attitude in that...'I am getting no reaction from you guys, I am not going to try' It was embarrassing.

I am from Glasgow and wanted them to be good but I think the singer gave up. As I said I think he had personal issues... having just read up on Wiki he did go missing for a bit a couple of months afterwards.

Hopefully all is good with him now.
  6. Noel went missing?
  7. No... lead singer of Glasvegas in 2009 !

Of course Liam was ALWAYS going missing back in the Oasis days !

Saw them in a festival in 2013 and I had a "play U2's ACROBAT" sign in first row and he laughed at it. I like their music quite a bit, they're not the next Beatles but they have a few bangers.
