1. I guess releasing the movie this year would be detrimental to ticket sales for the upcoming leg. A lot of people would think it pointless to spend hundreds on tickets when you can buy the exact same show for $30
  2. I can see why they prefer to release E&I first and also why they don't want to release 2 video's in one year. And also with the tour going to restart again there's another reason to wait a little longer.. but let's hope the delay doesn't mean it's going to be cancelled after all. That's the thing that is worrying me the most.

  3. EI is being released in November, with an announcement expected next month.

I disagree. They released Vertigo and 360 before the tour reached Australia but let's be honest here, what kind of fan would prefer to watch the DVD rather than experience the concert in person? The DVD is the next best option if you can't afford tickets, otherwise nothing beats being there. It's certainly not going to deter those in Singapore, Seoul or Manila where they've never toured before.
  5. Thanks .
It's been a busy week at work and I've obviously got my wires crossed

I agree, ticket sales aren’t really going to be effected enough for them not to bring out the dvd. If anything it’s probably mainly people that did attend the shows that buy the dvd as something to remember the tour by, a dvd is in no way a substitute for going to a gig. I think they are going to wait until after the tour because it sort of ties the dvd in with it, they didn’t get the opportunity to release the dvd after the tour in 2017 because they had moved onto SOE almost immediately then promoting E&I after that. It makes sense to release E&I next since that’s the most recently complete tour then when JT is released (next year possibly?) that will be the most recently complete tour even if they want to take it from a show that will have taken place maybe 2 and half years or more prior to the release.
  7. I also think they may have finished the work (HomeVide TJT30), and they didn't like the end result. And maybe they want to record one more show now.

    Good point!
  9. They shouldve released Paulo Vetri's Dublin show, what a great edit synching Croke 87-Croke 17.
  10. Only if they like misaligned video and poor audio.
  11. And the most unimaginative setlist choice for 'their hometown'.
  12. This will be released for the 40th anniversary
