  1. Fans shouldn't be anywhere near the Hotels it's just harassment that's private time and where they can relax with family and friends I understand why Larry Mullen doesn't want anything to do with the baying mob and avoids having anything to do with them ,the last thing they'd want is a group of strange people who should know better annoying them for photos and autographs, outside a venue is more acceptable as it's less intrusive and the band are more comfortable with that side of it.
  2. In Europe almost all meets & greets happen outside their hotel. It’s not harassment, I’ve no idea why you’re saying that. The hotel will put out protective barriers for us to wait. Brian will usually come out and tell us about Bono’s schedule. If he’s busy he’ll let fans know, if they’re planning to do a meet & greet, they’ll let us know. It’s not invasion of any privacy. Harassment is if someone actually enters the hotel or follow them in an alley or sth Meet & greets are a usual thing that’s been happening for years, so I don’t know why you got so mad about it. It’s hotels in Europe & venues in USA as far as I know. The band is more than fine with it, they’re popular for actually being so kind. If they didn’t wanna meet us, they could do what Larry is doing and we’d be fine. Last thing we want is to make them feel harassed.

  3. About 10 fans camping out for Tuesday at the moment.

Meet and greets are just another name for appeasing the stalkers especially when it's not some official arrangement by the band, I don't get why any sane person would hang around a hotel for hours waiting to meet their heroes ,I just think that should be off limits it's over stepping the line into their private world .

seems like the band (and especially Bono) doesn't mind. It's just part of the job and the time is calculated in. So you can argue if there's any infringement of privacy.

Stalkers...? Yeah, the band seems to not mind.
If it was some "invasion of their privacy," they'd all use side/off-limits entrances. I could see a sane person who wants to meet their heroes doing that🤷‍♂️ Now going to the gates of their houses or showing up a week before a show with a confidential GA line, those are completely other issues LOL
  7. Spoiler (click to toggle)

A hotel is a residential dwelling it's basically a home from home just because people hang around outside it doesn't make it ok,some of the band may play along and meet these older fans who really should cop on ,but I'm sure it's the last thing the band wanna do.
  11. Yeah it was mistakenly identified, the real rehearsal was The Best Thing.
