1. Omg try it on Ahimsa. The intro without the voices is way better. The instrumental is beautiful
  2. Damn this even works on live tracks, first one I tried was When Love Comes To Town in Dublin 1993
  3. The vocals on Bad from U22 are really beautiful
  4. I have a question.
What option do you choose to make instrumental songs?
    Thanks!
  5. Extract the vocal, option 2 I think.. Tried that yesterday and could choose for the band or the singer
  6. To me that was the default option and after that I could choose to either hear band or vocal

Absolutely, a lot depends on the mixing and also on the vocal range. I've tried separating Velvet Dress and, oh man, what a mess Bono's range is so low and with a lot of humming, etc. the software was virtually unable to distinguish what was vocals and what was music (let alone backing vocals!), it's messed all around But overall I'm really, REALLY surprised with how well this works. I'm going to be using their service a lot for learning guitar parts and practicing my own vocals. They might just ban my IP because of excessive bandwith usage lol

Who of us is gonnay try to run a whole concert through their service? And then.. which one is it gonna be? I think I can sing PM mexico 97 pretty much along..
  8. My god,.. listening to Landlady is just like standing besides him in the vocal booth.. This is cool stuff
  9. Ok,

Listening to the vocal on Ground beneath her feet now.. These are excellent vocals! I have the idea that if the vocals are low in the mix or close to guitars, this service struggles a bit more. But so far..Excellent!
  10. Just tried "In a Lifetime", that vocal is epic!
  11. It's a paid program, but Izotope RX7 does this (and better). It can also extract bass and drum stems.

Real handy with mixing IEM recordings.
