1. These are facts that I did not know. Really the music was turning into something mythical day after day. As I see it, it became a hymn already on the next tour, especially after that Dublin performance (12/31).

They did it quite a few more times over the tour (see post above). Usually the encore was that one I just listed, but sometimes they threw in Still Haven't Found or some other songs (Streets / Bullet / Running / WOWY / Party Girl / 40 in Wembley 2, what a run!).
  2. I also prefer Streets at the end of the shows. It is an apotheotic, cathartic moment. The final act of an opera.

  3. Streets is a perfect song wherever you place it. Maybe even better as a main set closer or a encore opener than as a show opener, but it's a kickass show opener for sure.
  4. Running to stand Still into Streets was briljant.
  5. Tbf I don't think it's hard. If us fans can think and even mix good transitions then it's definitely not a problem for u2.
  6. Not that hard really... you can throw the start of Streets after near enough any song with an atmospheric ending that could end on synth / strings chords - Bad, Please, All I Want Is You, One, - in fact it would fit after Kite, COBL, or Love Is Blindness as well.

The Zooropa/Streets segue was incredible. The first time they played it in Turin... well... > insert MIND BLOWN.gif here <
  7. I say that because they are 'close' to the songs. Maybe they can't see obvious connections.

that's easy to say now. There are some brilliant transitions that were not that obvious. The extended Please outtro, the completely renewed Running To Stand Still.. MLK into Streets on the Superbowl..
