1. I'll send it privately once I get home @y531ly5

NB: This is a scan of a magazine article.
  2. I'm fascinated by the inconsistencies of the Zoo broadcasts, and came here to investigate some of these mysteries- just to find a two-year old thread on the topic!

I recall having two distinct Zoo Radio broadcasts from actual radio broadcasts, taped and sent by a tape trader. I also had the Outside Broadcast bootleg CD. I remember that none of them were identical, but there were overlapping elements of all of them.

I never had the uber-expensive Zoo Radio Transmit promo CD, but from the looks of the contents, it too was unique compared to the three recordings I already had, but also with overlapping content.

I can probably dig up whatever I wrote about the broadcast tapes on my tape-trading list at the time, if anyone is interested- maybe possible I wrote the set lists- but at least running times and show notes. The tapes themselves are long gone... still have a digital copy of the Outside Broadcast boot CD though.

As for the Phillips DCC Outside Broascast TV Special... I can't seem to locate a complete copy. Every copy on YouTube and one I bought off Ebay have edits somewhere on them. Here's some common inconsistencies:
Incorrect aspect ratio- this wasn't a widescreen presentation
Drug of the Nation- many version omit "Thank You For Joining Us Live On The Air" intro
The Fly - out of synch/shortened
    WLCTTown - CUT!
William Burroughs Prayer - Also cut
Pat Kenny - Full version ends with Pat Kenny starting interview with band
Zoo News - Edited segment, usually following truncated Pat Kenny segment

I used to have a Japanese broadcast of this, with subtitles in Japanese, and it was the most complete version I ever saw. It came in a box labelled "Dublin 92" from someone that used to sell boots through a Rolling Stone magazine Classified ad.

As for where the live shots were filmed, Yankee Stadium is visible a few times, and I had an audience shot Yankee Stadium video from the night that they performed Desire with the guy running onto the stage. The Mirrorball Man phone call to the President appears to be Anaheim as he says "it's our last night." And isn't there a ferris wheel visible sometimes? Wasn't a state fair happening in the parking lot of a show?

Wow, I really got into the weeds about Zoo TV, out of nowhere.
  3. Just post all of your documentation even if it is used a couple years down the road. The ferris wheel was visible during BTBS and was filmed on September 5,6 92 in Toronto at the now demolished Canadian National Exhibition grounds. I was at both shows.
  4. Some fans where complaining about the WTSHNN cut during the Outside Broadcast and they completely missed the joke. And yes it was a joke. Personally, I wouldn't try to decipher edits during the ZooTV period. Editing was the name of the game!
