    Personally, I like the lead vocal the way it is and I've really started to enjoy listening to this song recently. I'd be interested to hear it live.
    @hello,

    This was actually very simple, prob took 10 mins. I took the MP3 of the song and ran that through an AI-service that separates the track into 4 "stems": Drums, Bass, Vocals and "Other".

    Then I used Audacity (audio-editing software) and singled out the Vocals track. In that track are all the vocals, but with specific settings you can "find" just the lead vocal and single that out, while leaving the rest in place.

    I've been playing around with various tools for the last month or so and working on some interesting U2 "Remixes". So while I was lucky with this track, for another song I'm working on I spent +/- 6 hours yesterday to get a 15 second segment edited in.. That song has been cracking my head for more than a week now..

    Will post more about that around here soon!

    PS @hello,

    Just created a version of "One" this morning that has Johnny Cash on lead vocal instead of Bono.. Will post later today, but in a separate topic, as it has nothing to do with nloth..
  3. Shouldn't Vertigo on 360 be listed as: Stand Up Comedy (snippet) / Vertigo

    One of the few albums where each part alone is better than the whole... It improves over time but still doesn't feel like a masterpiece and coherent album.

    I mostly stand behind this from 9 years ago but I don't know what the fuck I was thinking to give SUC a 3 and GOYB a 5, it should be the other way round.
  6. Haha.. I like the lead vocal but the lyrics are a bit cheesy.. It was more like mysterious ways or Hold me thrill me. It was just a little test

    it's proof that sometimes it's Bono who ruins the songs

  8. Any chance you can repost this on SoundCloud or somewhere. I listened to it once early this morning on YT now it seems to be gone.
  9. Can you repost or send me another link?
    I can't watch it.

    That's very interesting. I've often tried to do that sort of thing with a lot of U2 songs using different software. I'll definitely give this method a try. Keep up the good work.
  11. Isn't it the anniversary of No line today?? strange that even the fan base have ignored that and we wonder why the band don't play it anymore
