1. Black and Alive are also pretty big deals - have aged much better than Even Flow and Jeremy, imo.
  2. I can't get those damn verses of "7 O'Clock" out of my head!!!
  3. I can't stop listening to that track. So good!
  4. Yea 7:00 is definitely creeping up on me.
  5. I had Retrograde stuck in my head last night. Those last three songs are actually pretty great. The end of an album has been a struggle in the last two. Self-titled had Come Back and Inside Job, so maybe comparable.
  6. Been spinning the album through the week, CD arrived this week...

It's okay, not sure yet on as a whole, 2nd half of the album is making me feel a little flat, much prefer the first half of the album.

Right now my fave song is Take the Long Way, like the 7/8 groove and it's kind of different sounding as a whole. Also really dig Quick Escape, love Mike's solo.

Second half for me really isn't anything different, new or ground breaking that we have had from Pearl Jam on the past few albums. Much preferred Lighting Bolt on first few listens and enjoyed it more. No doubt I will keep spinning Gigaton though more through the coming weeks.

Like the singles too or the cuts we got before the album dropped.

    Peace!
  7. Maybe I'm crazy but I actually find the album bordering on unlistenable at this point
  8. Why so?

I think it has a little bit of something for everyone and that might be its only "fault" (so to speak, because diversity can hardly be a bad thing, but anyway): it's a bit too broad, bordering on "vague". But overall I think everyone can really like more than one song on the album because there's a bit for every taste.
  9. I’m enjoying it. I find myself getting into a different song with every listen. Loving the one two punch of Never Destination and Long Way. You’re not crazy though. I can totally see people not liking the album.
  10. I think it's a great album, although the last couple of songs are a bit boring. But i like it a lot more than Backspacer and Lightning Bolt
  11. "Dance of the Clairvoyants" looks like a Muse song.
