1. The other thing I’m thinking is an AB anniversary tour would be next year, zoo tv anniversary would be 2022. 2022 would also be a 25th anniversary of pop and Popmart so perhaps there’s a way of including the rare AB songs and a few pop songs in a regular tour of a new album. I’m sure an idea like this was mentioned before maybe on u2songs.
  2. Maybe a tour that selects from the Achtung/Zooropa/Pop trilogy. Or, for example, open with four Achtung Baby songs, play Zooropa in full then a few songs off Pop in the encore.

But to be honest I'd be happy they just play more Pop as part of a new album tour.
  3. I think it’d be cool if they played all the songs live in Hansa Studios similar to From The Sky Down, but not a tour.
  4. No.
  5. I think it makes a lot less sense than Joshua Tree because they’ve been periodically celebrating and evoking Zoo TV since the Vertigo Tour. In fact, they just did on e+i in Europe. Playing JT front-to-back was a novel hook on which to rest a tour, and I don’t think Zoo TV 30 is novel enough. And Achtung Baby is so closely tied to Zoo TV I doubt a hook like JT 2017 would cut it either (although I’d be first in line for tickets).

The one scenario I'd see them do it is if they can update the ideas of Zoo TV to the 2020s. Which would require an unfathomable amount of information overload, but that seems like quite the challenge.
  6. I'm sure the band thought this, but I hope it doesn't happen, I prefer a new album and a tour. I think it's time to give achtung baby a break (except wild horses, acrobat, LIB & So Cruel)

"You haven't come all the way out here to watch TikTok, now have ya?" (coughs for 2 minutes)
  8. That's not true!

    ...

    Okay, maybe it is true
  9. A Zoo TV anniversary tour is a ridiculous oxymoronic notion. Then again, the original Zoo TV wasn’t short of ridiculousness or oxymorons.
  10. I want the next tour to be a world tour a la 360 and Vertigo.

A stadium tour in Europe visiting a lot of cities, not just the major ones. And then actually doing Asia, Australia, South America in the same tour cycle.

Just because there's higher chances of a home show for me
