Joshua Tree Tour 2019
Legs (1): New Zealand, Australia and Asia
Shows: 15
  1. God damn The Whole of the Moon was so good.
  2. I'll never forget the sea of arms up in Croke Park when The Whole Of The Moon began, such a great moment. Electric.
  3. Can't listen to Whole of the Moon now without immediately being transported to the start of a JT show and Larry launching into Sunday Bloody Sunday. Ah, the memories of 6 months ago.

The one that gets my juices flowing is Arcade Fire's 'Wake Up'. Loved that opening to the Vertigo tour.
  5. A year ago today the Joshua Tree Tour 2019 was announced. I still think this is my favourite announcement. From "we're going away now" in Berlin to 7/8 months of rumours and excitement. People being certain this tour would and wouldn't happen. Eagerly awaiting an article from U2Songs to give us new information. Different and new cities being rumoured each time. Noel Gallagher being leaked as support act. The reaction to the tour being announced on here and twitter was awesome. I'll never forget that. Better times.

Remember it well, the anticipation since January waiting for confirmation of the dates.

It also meant that I could finally finalise my wedding as that tour made up some of honeymoon plans
  8. A year

Yeap, I feel the same way. Even stronger about Patti Smith's People Have The Power
