  1. Maybe this could open the door to heartland being performed on tour in the future but yeah I’m looking forward to hearing it. I still have concerns about it being a documentary rather than a show. Especially now it’s called heartland, it isn’t ‘the joshua Tree live...’ I really don’t think we’re going to get many full songs uninterrupted.

  4. It might end up being full band acoustic. If it’s uninterrupted and the full song then I’ll be happy, an electric version would be better though.

  9. Oh God, 1) I think Heartland is an awful name especially if they push this to cinemas. I doubt a casual fan will have any idea on what this actually is. 2) I'm seriously concerned we're not going to get the full concert now and only clips of songs in-between the documentary part.
  10. They did manage to play full electric on a barge in the Hudson River so you never know.
  11. And how long is this film going to be? If they include the whole concert and documentary footage you could be looking at 3 hours.. which is another reason why I think they're going to cut some of the concert.
  12. The "in the desert" part may be hyperbole. They could mean in Phoenix, Tempe, etc. and they won't be lying.
