1. Would love a new tour with material from this album. It will be great to hear songs like Beautiful Day, Elevation and Stick in a Moment played live again.

South bend as an example was 1 hour 53 minutes for the recording on here so they’ll need to cut 33 minutes worth of material if it was that show.

    Why South Bend?
  3. I’ve posted since then, possibly in the ATYCLB album thread and it seems like we will be getting a 2 disc live set anyway which would be more like a full show. I’m guessing at south bend because of the webcast, I think that makes it a more obvious choice for release, something that will stand out to the band. A post 9/11 New York being another option. I was asking the question before that can anyone really think of another elevation show that would be memorable enough for the band to go back and revisit for a release, I don’t think there is really. Boston is possible but I think they’ll go with something that’s unreleased, slane I don’t think would be an option either having been released with the fanclub, they don’t release fanclub gifts in the same format commercially.
  4. I would prefer a different show rather than South Bend since I don't think it was a particularity great show. Doesn't mean I wouldn't enjoy it but I have had the pro-shot video and soundboard recording since the show happened and I almost never watch/listen to it. A new mix might make all the difference though so who knows.

What I do know is they should have every show recorded so they aren't limited in options. I mean who suspected we would get MSG 87 albeit in shortened form prior to its release. If they do take the lazy route and give us Boston, it better be a full show and not edited like the DVD is. As long as whatever release has the Fly with the extended intro I will be happy.

MSG 87 maybe wasn’t that big a surprise though, they already had released ISHFWILF on Rattle and hum from that show and I don’t think it’s a coincidence the soundboard from that show was already out there before the official release. The fly might not be likely to appear. They’ve already released shows from leg 1 and 2 so might fancy a leg 3 show which was a leg that seemed to take on a lot of significance at the time but didn’t feature the fly. If I could pick a show I’d maybe go for the final show of leg 1 East Rutherford which featured 9 songs from the album. Something a little different which stands out from other tours.
  6. To have the rare versions of Walk On will be a treat. They were hard to track down.
  7. This was recorded "live in studio" - it was done with the band at HQ after the album was finished, and it was mixed from a couple of takes, so that's likely why you get the part live part studio feeling
  8. It's probaby an early vocal take that didn't make it on to the album. Funny! Some guitar parts are slightly different to the album too (apart from the ending which is obviously really different).
  9. From what I read on U2songs.com they were recorded “live” in studio during rehearsals for the All That You Can’t Leave Behind promo tour
  10. I wonder if they will include kite live from sydney.
