1. Maybe Angel of Harlem? In fact, there might be a few R&H songs that might be suitable for NG.
  2. he has done a great version of "to be someone" by the Jam in the past and "Setting sun" by the chemical brothers be interesting to hear his 2020 take on those songs also
  3. Setting Sun is his collaboration with Chems... he wrote the lyrics and mostly the music (took some old unused Oasis song) so not a real cover...
  4. Definitely "The Showman " I reckon he had some sort of part in that song probably while hanging out with Bono in the south of France over a few beers, he has spoken highly of that song in a few interviews and it would suit his range.

Being the co-songwriter is the only reason why someone would speak highly of The Showman

His range is tighter than Bono's (at least at the deep end) so it has to be in the somewhat middle/upper register.

    - Elevation would fit his voice, not sure about him performing it would seem credible though
    - I think he could get away with All I Want Is You
    - Angel Of Harlem would indeed be a good one
    - And pretty much all the "Beatles" type songs U2 did would suit his voice I think: Staring at the sun, Summer Rain, Wild Honey, Window In The Skies.. etc
