  6. Out of the 50 songs in the Super-Deluxe release (11 album + 39 "bonus"), only 4 have never been heard before but they're only remixes, so this is hardly for the long-time and obsessed fans that hang out here. It would appeal to the more recently acquired hard core fans who missed the singles, don't own the Elevation tour DVD or have been unable to rip the audio; and who weren't members of the fan club when MMR was released. Someone in that situation is likely to be pleased but I imagine it's very small demographic.
  7. Don't buy it. Stream it
  8. The time is now for another MRR release. They have ten years of odds and ends to delve into.
  9. I was just remembered that when this album came out it was very obvious that the youth of U2 had died with this album. It was obvious upon it's release that any hint of youthful aggression had given way to maturity and full on adulthood.
  10. Turning 40 does that to you.

I think that’s why so many people gravitated to it.

It’s not very becoming to see them still prancing around in leather ten years after a heyday.

The line between innocence and experience was indeed crossed here
  12. The personal maturity was really obvious.
