  4. I used an mp3 of that for having a go at this Remix for the last 3 days (which is perfectly legal on YT) but hesitating to post it here as it's kinda.. different YouTube's handling of copyright is very transparent actually in my experience.

    Still interested in the original audio for Mercy but guess it's all copies from copies etc..
  5. I’ve never known if the original lyric was “Love heals when I lie,” or “Love hears when I lie”

    I’ve always assumed the latter. But either way, the delivery on that line alone is really on another level to me.

    Love puts the blue back in my eye

    I mean, that’s a top 5 Bono lyric of the 00s for me.

  7. The song as is is so great. I never really liked the “because, because, because we can, we must” line. Always thought the delivery was really cheesy, especially the end.

    Agree its pretty clunky.

    Reminds me of when they re-tooled Miracle Drug. Just didn't quite get there.
