  1. Man, I wish I had a time machine so I could go back and see at least one show from ZOO TV.
  2. I can hardly imagine anyone who has seen ZooTV live and not agree that it has been the best tour ever by U2, at least the outdoor legs. Other tours have been great as well, of course, but remembering it now I can still feel the excitement I felt at each of the ZooTV shows I saw. Totally unprecedented. Still gives me thrills today.

    If I had a time machine I'd also go back to see another ZooTV show.

  9. My aunt was an 80’s purist U2 fan. Talks about how the Joshua Tree 1987 Cleveland show was one of the best nights of her life, etc. Didn’t like AB, never acknowledged anything after that. She also went to the Cleveland zoo tv show and hated it. She said by the time they started playing the songs she liked, and the U2 she knew and loved started to shine through, she was over it. I told her she’s missing out, but she doesn’t care.

    So yeah, there were many fans like this that were obsessed in the 80’s and did not follow the journey after that.

  11. I have always assumed everybody loved ZooTV because even the American crowds were good in 1992.

    I can confirm! In addition to the 2 indoor and 1 outdoor Zoo TV shows I was lucky to see, I experienced a full show from outside the stadium and it was a blast too!
