Bad isn't a Larry highlight for me, but Indian Summer Sky sure is. And Wire! Definitely agree. TUF is a brilliant album drum-wise

Yeah, Bad isn’t a complicated part but I think Larry does a great job nonetheless. Forgot about Wire!

Wire is one of my absolute favourite U2 songs to play on the drums. I'd love to hear that song live one day, but doubt I ever will.
  4. The stereo absolutely makes the drums in Bad. The tambourine sound and its panning from L to R are as iconic as the SBS intro or any of the other Mullen signature drum fills!

Wire is a brutal song. Super funny to play on bass too!
(And frustrating to play on guitar to me at least. One of the few U2 songs I've never got to really play properly)
  6. I always wondered if there is any bar that is replicated /played twice the same way by Larry Mullen on 'Bad'?
    Absolute unique drumming, unconventional -
  7. just listen to the closed hi-hat (or is it a tambourine?).
  8. I listened to TUF (song) 10 times in a row today, It's my favorite song ever. What's your favorite track off the record? Indian Summer Sky is a song that should've been played more often. I feel like that song could fit modern Bono's voice really well.
  9. TUF is my favourite song on the album of the same name. I’d put Bad ahead if we were thinking about live versions but both clear 10/10 songs for me and amongst the bands absolute best songs.
  10. It’s my favorite track of the album
It’s my favorite album of the world
    It’s my favorite u2 album
I could play it forever and ever again and again
  11. The first U2 album I heard...I still feel the same shock as the first time...live it was even better...
  12. Wish they had included The Unforgettable Fire or Pride along with A Sort of Homecoming and Bad on the Wide Awake In America ep
