1. I suspect they would have done a few songs live on TV with the likes of Jimmy Fallon and a couple of acoustic performances on radio but certainly not a tour.
  2. Joshua Tree tour was a complete cash in U2 know their new stuff no matter how good isn't gonna sell a 1/4 of what they were selling pre 2004 mainly down to demise of physical sales and the age demographic of their audience it happens to all bands from the 70s,80s,90s ,I know fans that aren't familiar at all with the last 3 albums,SOE had 9 producers all brought in to give them hit singles it didn't happen none of the songs made a big impact on the charts so I think we will see more nostalgia tours going forward if they decide to carry on.
  3. that’s pretty weird
    I would say
    2020 boy anniversary ( Man Tour )
2040 Boy becoming a Grandpa tour

I remember Best Thing doing better than I expected it to. But as good as U2 should expect in this era.

yes, but that's already happening on part 2 of ATYCLB.
  6. Over the years I’ve neglected Side B, I was more drawn towards Side A. I listened to the full album recently and forgot how good Side B was, I love every track on that side. Yes, that includes Grace. It’s the first album I ever listened to and I feel an attachment to it because of that. It didn’t rank as highly in my books as it does now. Imo, this album is their third masterpiece after JT and AB, the songs are great and still hold up. I acknowledge Elevation and Wild Honey aren’t the best of songs but I still love them and wouldn’t change anything about the album.
  7. Somebody has split up the box and is selling it:

    174568065709
  8. On eBay
  9. Mine came today. Yeah.
  10. There isn't much to this, is there? No essay, no photographs. I think it needed another piece.

Even after 20 years I still dislike the studio version of Elevation but absolutely adore the 2001 live version,I don't know any other U2 song that I feel this way about.
