1. Collection complete for now. Really just taking a break before I start on the singles.

  2. New bootleg?

  3. Back
  4. LOL
THAT is my collection too ! Congratulations on a fine collection you have .
I started buying their vinyls back in 1982.
Except you have the "Boy" European cover and I have the U.S. album cover.
    Just a little diferent.

ALWAYS keep them scratch free and cleaned... but DO PLAY them ALOT.
The music sounds better on vinyl.
  5. A vinyl is like a baby
    Must be loved,kept clean

  7. When shops open back up it would be worth going to HiFi stores like Richer Sounds so you can see what's available.

A great needle is always good to use.
I have been using STANTON for years. Very dependable and captures
the sound very nice. For a turntable , you do not have to get a professional
one if you are just starting out. If you are a pro, then get TECHNICS 1200
direct-drive turntables. They will last forever if you treat them nice. They
are also great to do Old-Skoool scratching on those vinyls LOL
Just buy one that spins at 33 and 45 will do the job.

Now what comes out of that turntable is important for a great sound.
A nice pre-amp, or amplifier, and also a multi-band equalizer.
Alot of good brands out there.
Then the most important thing to spend money on , are the speakers.
    Get quality stuff.
Too many brands to mention here, but do your research on the internet, go
to your local Hi-Fi dealer and listen to each speaker sound for a few minutes
with your eyes closed, while listening to a vinyl record playing and also
    use a CD too.
Dont get distracted to what the dealer will try to sell you. Make up your own
mind by listening to the record without distractions and no one around you
    talking.

I have BOSE speakers. They are very small, but pack a "punch".
They do the job right for me.

  9. For start you can buy used JVC L-A21(mine 1982 year) or L-A100 with DT Z1S stylus. Pre-amp Dj art II for start is good option. You can also think about Pro-Ject RPM Carbon with Ortofon 2M needle sound is superb, price is much higher but sounds amazing
Speakers go to hifi shop and listen few of them.I used Dali Zensor 7 and second option was Klipsch RP 8000F.
Dali for me sounds more warm bass is controled you can buy Dali Zensor 1 or 3 for start.
Go to vinylengine.com forum and you'll find good turntable for your adventure with records
