  1. ok, this is hopeless. It's now starting to feel like a Babylonian Confusion of tongues. New proposal; forget everything I've said in the past few days.

100% agree that it has all the ingredients in the exact measure... But the top notch recording also helps I wonder how our opinion on this show would change if the recording was a mediocre audience pull or even a cold soundboard like Basel or Adelaide... The closeness and power of the Dublin crowd really is the icing on the cake of this bootleg for me.

For sure. That recent remaster takes it to another level as well. So many epic shows possibly lost to poor quality recordings. Milan 92 manages to be stellar with a 3 star recording all the same.

    Wop wop
  5. "Wop wop"?

When they added Redemption Song (Bono only, after Satellite of Love) and SBS at a few shows it didn't work quite as well as Bad, imho.

Sorry for the wop wop, it was just a way to introduce your post in the discussion from a few days ago haha. Thanks for your testimonial from Dub93

Completely agree about Redemption Song and Bad. It's like riding a bicycle vs driving a Maserati Quattroporte. The bicycle is nice but it's just not comparable.

Apparently missed out on the remaster when it was released. Listening to it now...indeed takes it to another level. What a show.
